Information handled when you visit
Our hosting provider, Namecheap, processes ordinary connection and security logs, which can include an IP address, requested resource, time and browser information. This supports delivery, security and diagnosis of the website, based on the legitimate interest in operating a secure service. We do not require an account to read guides or use the tools.
Calculators and search
Guide searches and calculator entries are processed in your browser. We do not submit the entered dollar amounts or salary assumptions to a school, an advertiser or our server as a lead. We do not collect Social Security numbers, applications or payment details.
Optional Google Analytics
Where enabled, Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you agree to optional analytics. It can process usage events, page views, device or browser information and approximate geography. We use it to understand how the website is used. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our analytics configuration. You can reject analytics, change your choice or withdraw consent through Cookie settings in the footer.
Google and our hosting or email providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Their applicable contractual safeguards and privacy notices govern that processing. Google’s privacy information is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Contact by email
If you choose to email us, we receive the address and information you send and use it to respond and handle the matter. Correspondence is kept only for as long as necessary for that purpose and any applicable legal obligations or claims. Please do not send identity documents or sensitive financial information.
